What is Gentlo?
What is the downtime?
Unlike other treatments such as ablative lasers and aggressive peels, there is no downtime. You may experience redness, but this usually subsides a few hours after the procedure. Your skin may also become itchy and start shedding. Your clinician will explain this in detail during your treatment.
Does it hurt?
You will feel slight heat and pressure on the treatment area. For most patients, the discomfort is very minimal. Your practitioner may apply topical anaesthetic cream before the procedure to make the treatment pain-free.

Acne
Acne is an inflammatory skin condition that causes spots and pimples to appear, most commonly on the face, forehead, chest, shoulders and upper back. Acne occurs when your hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells. Plasma BT is an effective treatment option for acne as it kills bacteria and sterilises the skin, whilst promoting regeneration of skin tissue. Plasma also increases the skin’s absorption of cosmetic products considerably which means it can be used in conjunction with professional products to prevent further acne flare ups.
Stretch Marks
Stretch marks affect thousands of people, regardless of age or situation. Weight loss, weight gain, pregnancy or simply growing can all result in the fine silvery, long, fragmented scars that are sunken into the skin. Stretch marks are a result of a certain hormone failing to produce enough collagen and elastin fibres, the things that keep skin taut. People with dry skin are more prone to stretch marks because skin fibres require moisture to stay strong. Plasma encourage new collagen and elastin fibres to grow and is therefore an effective stretch mark treatment.
Fine Lines & Wrinkles
As we get older, our skin’s ability to turn over new healthy skin cells slows down. Sun damage and even everyday facial movements like smiling or frowning cause faint lines to surface and deepen into wrinkles over time. Skin begins to age after the age of 25.
